Trademark question about domain name

Hello,
I am a little confused about Trademark for domain name. If "mouse.com" is trademarked, then, I can't buy a domain like "mousehot.com" or "mousepet.com".
Am I right?
I meant, if "mouse" is trademarked, then I can't buy any domain with the word "mouse" in it, right?

It depends.

For example: Apple is trademarked.

So you can't buy applecomputers.com applephones.com etc. These will infringe on the apple trademark and on their products.

However you can buy appleorchard.com because it doesn't infringe on Apple computers.

But if you bought stuff like SonyTVs.com MicrosoftSoftware.com it is infringing on their trademarks.
