Using Godaddy.com for couple domains and don´t need to use support, its possible to make all necessary changes to domain online.

I use NameCheap.com for domain registration and like the way they provide their services. Moreover they provide web hosting services that are nice as well.

Professional domainers use fabulous.com, moniker.com, enom.com as they are the safest.
I have over a thousand domains at fabulous - mostly .com

Sometimes they have a sell for $6.95
Been using them for about 2 years now.
