Can .co really kill .com?

Can someone please point me to some other articles or sources of this. The only articles i found about this was the one in the OP and another that was written in 2001. To be 100% i dont think this is for real unless someone can prove me otherwise. This news would be all over the domaining forums if it was true and i have not seen anything anywhere.

Yes, this is a good trick From another point, not many will follow it because CO domains are very expensive. I am not buying them and my comments in this article don't advise others to buy into .CO
