Now I go through every single page one by one on my site, it was designed with coffee cup. I entered all the correct codes months ago on it.

I have Ghostary on firefox and it tells me what trackers and what not are being run on the page. At first it was only showing quantcast and google analitics on every page, with an adbright banner.

But I started noticing all the inline text codes that I uploaded to my site, had all vanashied. On every single web page that I have been through so far, all of the inline text script has just disappeared.

Im wondering if the 2 companies have a default program that does that somehow when you are running 2 inline text adds from 2 different companies.

I find it strange that they just disappeared from the site. I originally set out to just build a simple site for my partner to promote her small business ...the site grew as it became obvious that a site wasn't any good unless people could find it. It now ranks reasonably for the key words/phrases I am interested in. There is no 3rd party advertising on the site

I have been approached by a party who want a home page link to their site plus they want to plant 3 "relevent" articles in my site. They say they will pay £75 ($120) a month to do this.

What are the cons? Would they leech much ranking from the site (i.e. would I drop down in Google), would customers find it annoying? Does it devalue a site? Are there any scams to be aware of?

Are there any key questions to ask? Demands to make? (Minimum term contract?)

This is all new to me so any advice appreciated.
