1. Compose a blog in subdirectory off main fixed site using WP download. That's comfortable enough.

2. Compose classifications in blog for each type of post.

3. Compose links on the blog that point back to great pages of my main unchanged site.

4. Create posts and tag in one or more of the categories I have created. Also, include relevant keywords for each post.

Now, my inquiry is, should I link back to my blog stakes, or the categories? One difficulty I have with the distinctive WP posts is that the distinctive post includes none of the categories, links, (or Ad sense) down the side. So the position itself is a dead end page, unless person thinks to click on the heading. Is there a plunging that puts all the links and categories on everyone WP post? So for example if you are writing about space travel, you might put in what you think is a good name for your blog, so let's say "spacetraveltips", and if the name is available, wordpress will accept it, and then your url is "spacetraveltips.wordpress.com". Done.

But do I also now need to get this domain name from a domain name registrar? I understand that I don't need to for the blog to be functional...but what are the advantages if I do get it?
