Hey all,

I'm new to this board, but I've been a freelance writer for the past 4 years. During that time I've also gained a First Class degree in Management with Marketing from the Scottish University of the Year 2011-2012, and 2012-2013. I graduated at the top of my year, and received 5 out of 5 possible prizes for my performance.

At present, I'm studying for a PhD in marketing, and that's why I'm writing the post. By the time I graduate, or soon thereafter, I believe that having a strong online profile will be valuable in terms of applying for respected lectureships in my field. As such, I'm starting a website which will, in a couple of years time, contain a blog that summarises my research ideas, my academic CV, and links to my published articles.

Where do you come in to all of this? Well, as we all know, strong backlinks are key to improving your SERP, and I want to be on the first page for my name. As such, I'm looking to write marketing-based articles for marketing/business websites/blogs in exchange for a do-follow backlink.
