I could have driven through it but the mud got between the belt and gear and snapped. I was stuck till I could get a friend with an ATV to tow me home. Off-Roading is one of my hobbies. I had a wheelchair custom manufactured for it.

Sounds like fun. I used to have a full size Jimmy with mudders on it. Lots of fun to go up into the mountains and throw some mud around.

A company in Texas worked with me for several years of trial and error to develop the chair. Fortunately it has a 6,000 pound winch on the back to pull it out of the mud.
It was totaled out last July and had to be completely rebuilt in rather freak accident.
