That would put me right smack dab into my boozing days. I was bull-headed and self absorbed so chances are I wouldn't listen to any advice I gave.
I'd likely tell myself, "Stop the party and get serious with your life!"
Truth be told it would be many years after that before I would consider listening to such advice.
So yeah... A trip into my past would likely be a waste of time for me.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If you went back in time and told yourself what to do, who is to say you would listen to yourself. We decide our course of action by what is in our own minds, not what is in that of others. The younger you has 10 years of experience less with which to think. The ten years of experience and knowledge make all the difference to one's thinking I suspect.
(I have good ideas about what I should do all the time, it don't mean I actually do any of them.)
