Underwear!

I think the underwear should give you the maximum comfort (otherwise, you can think of avoiding it altogether!) but I wonder whether it is used show purposes (except in fashion shows)

I've worn briefs up until 5 or 6 years ago then went commando. The support from the briefs were essential during what was normal physical activity for me all those years, but then my normal activity was suddenly reverted to minimal activity. Now I have more comfort but less protection, but I don't really need that kind of protection anymore. The protection to which I am referring is a lifting of the scrotum and its contents just enough to where the testicles are not ruptured by the movement of the inner thighs during this rather rigorous activity, usually working outdoors, hunting, fishing etc. I've never had any use for boxers. My voice may have been a bit higher in pitch back then, but at least it was seldom via a blood curdling scream, so that I think was a plus.

I usually prefer tighties but now I'm switching to boxers. I wonder why?

Actually the scrotum usually shrinks up somehow and is generally sufficient protection, but there are times when it doesn't and those are the dangerous times, and it's not like you can control this shrinking and expanding, so I do hold some respect for briefs. I'll admit that I have been caught a few times in my new commando style, but nothing that really took my breath away, so I think I've been pretty lucky thus far.

It's important as mature adult men for us to discuss the scrotum openly. It is an important part of our anatomy that deserves to be exposed without shame, it shouldn't be hidden away and treated as taboo.

The reason men's testicles rise and fall is to do with temperature. Your body tries to keep them a couple of degrees cooler than body temperature because it is better for sperm. Wearing tight pants causes your testicles to be too close to your body and hence raises their internal temperatures and can thus effect the quality of sperm produced. Now isn't that something we all should know.

Wow. You sure about this SITA? I should be sticking to my boxers then especially since we're in the tropics.

I'm still kinda uncomfortable talking about balls and sorts but I do understand how important it is to know.

Underwear is always a sensitive area. I favour boxer shorts myself, the snug elasticated type, not the more traditional type of cotton cloth. I have gone commando on occasion, but that feels like I'm really living on the edge. Caftans are a wonderful bit of kit, loose and breezy, but they're more for tea and a hookah than coffee, to my mind. That's hookah!

A caftan is the long one-piece robe they wear in the middle east (well, elsewhere too - and I don't know if it has to be a particular style to be a caftan, as far as I know it's just a robe) and the hookah is the bubbling pipe they smoke.

I go for boxers, it is very comfortable for me more than briefs, I used to wear briefs when I was a kid and I don't like the feeling, I rather let mine with some space to relax now that I am older.
