Alternative to paypal

I have been using paypal for years, but now they have limited my account! can't re type it all out again, but this is what has happened-- [Edit: link removed, please read the rules ]

Are there any reliable alternatives to paypal?

I need something that works worldwide, although I am based in the uk.

Thanks in advance

I have opened an account with moneybookers and will be able to send money via that soon.

I spend over $10,000 per year through paypal and by them limiting my account like this it has seriously p1ssed me off, especailly as they called me the day before and I confirmed that the transactions were genuine. Unfortunately I need a paypal account, but from now on I will not use it unless I really have to!

How interesting. Is moneybookers really good? This is the first I've heard of them, and they look good.

Thanks for the suggestions

I'll stick with moneybookers for now and see how that goes!

As for paypal, they reinstated my account and removed the limitation.

I sent some money last night and then returned home from work today, only to find that my account had been limited again

Sorry you're having such problems with PayPal. It'll be a lot better for everyone when they have lots of competition so that they work to keep their customers happy!

I've used Moneybookers in the past and they were reliable and prices were reasonable.
Good luck!
