Do you mean, what we should have for a healthy breakfast?

Well certainly you should not have what I did this morning, cold custard and apple crumble.

Normally I have something with a low glycaemic index such as porridge and hot tea. If I am feeling naughty I might chop up a banana and mix it into the porridge.

I'm not on a diet by the way.

I had english breakfast today and it seems it is very good meal for those who need work long time before they can go for a lunch. It is 2 PM in my time zone and I am still not hungry

Basically my breakfast would be yesterday's left-overs.
I sometimes eat rice and make a lot of onigiri

Depends on what your goals are.

You could try:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Glass of water
2 boiled eggs
Wholemeal seeded toast - (preferably with pumpkin and sunflower seeds in it)
Banana
Glass of fresh orange (with the juicy bits in)

Oh yes, and a Yakult to help balance out the bacteria within the gut.
------------------------------------------------------------

The eggs will provide you with all (well ok, minus 1) of the proteins required.
The wholemeal toast is carb but also contains seeds and they provide vital nutrients.
Banana = Carbs (fast burning but as you have had seeds within the bread and also the eggs, it won't burn as fast and turn to sugar as quick, thus allowing you to feel full for longer). Also part of your 5-a-day
Fresh Orange - Vit C, Carbs, very good for you and part of your 5-a-day

SITA is right on the money with the GI and if you have what I have listed above, this should cause a slower breakdown into sugars, provide energy for longer, make you feel not as hungry until lunch time and also not allow your body to even attempt to take it's food from your muscles due to the eggs

Well, the healthiest food for breakfast is Porridge with milk, nuts, raisins, etc.
I eat porridge every morning and I am really healthy, as I also go the gym and play football.

I would go for oat meal, waffle, pancakes, low-fat milk or fruit juice, eggs and a few sausages.

There are many ways to eat your healthy breakfast but for me my healthy breakfast is sandwich, using whole wheat bread. Stuff it with lots of vegetables and replace mayonnaise, cream or butter with low-fat yogurt. Lean meat, egg and steamed tuna can also be used as a filling in this sandwich.

I eat grits with a side of buttery toast -oh and coffee.

I think that the best way to stay healthy is to only eat when hungry, and not to take in too much no matter what food it is. Also, drink lots of water threw out the day.
