A warning to all Nigeria residents

If get any emails from Washington asking for money, it's a scam. Don't fall for it.

I got a similar scam email but it came from somewhere else in Africa. A woman said she wants to transfer all of her money to another bank and is asking for my account number and other confidential information. I just deleted the email.

Ohh really. As i know, only mails from Nigeria or africa have such content. And who would like to ask for money from nigerians ? I believe , some fool will do that. i think you have misread something or have wrong information about these things. All such scams happens in nigeria only.....who would like to rob a robber...

It seems that I should not post when drinking.

This was meant as a joke.

The scammers should avoid all email requests from Washington, DC asking for money.

I get those crappy emails from scammers puporting to be from many different countries.

It is amazing to me that anyone falls for any scam these days. People are very wary for the most part of anything to do with cash.

I'm not a Nigerian Resident but I received email from Nigeria telling me that they need help. Well to bad for them because I've seen on Oprah before about this scam.

The Nigerias are way past the crazy "Let me send you millions of dollars" emails. They now have a endless supply of hijacked Paypal accounts and credit cards. They buy something from you and later you are told it was fraud and you as the merchant lose.
I have talked to some of these Nigerias at least 5 times on the phone and every time I can hear dozens of people on phones claiming to be banks, Paypal and etc.
If you get hit more than a few times by these guys Google checkout will cancel your merchant account as Googles answer to the problem.
Next you lose your Paypal account and you eat all the chargebacks.
They know they can not touch the Nigerias so they make the victim the bad guy and you have to start using more and more different merchant accounts until you find your way off the Nigerias list or get into another business.
I have talked to fraud department personal at ebay and they say it is being done with tens of thousands of transactions aday.
The bottom line is the Nigerias have nothing to lose and everything to gain in the internet fraud business no one is doing anything about it and the problem is growing at a amazing pace. It is Nigerias "California gold rush"

I did get one love letter from a woman, and proposal to get big account which was in US. Her father was killed by some mob, her father has 40 million ,and mobster was looking for her, now she wants to escape, and she found my profile somewhere, and wanted to get in with me, get the money, and run to paradise................

I bet it was written by some JA.

It sounded like a regular movie, but it was very entertaining to read that email..
