Not personally but my father in law, sister in law, previous boss and a friend have and they absolutly love it. My wife is considering it this fall.
We think it's been around long enough and have not heard any bad publicity around it. Hope this helps.

A friend had it done and loved it.
Many years ago I heard of people having it done and then seeing "star bursts" around points of light at night. But I think they've fixed that issue.

NOTE: If you cannot stare at a fixed object for at least 60 seconds, you may not be a good candidate for this surgery.
|
SHIT, im actually finding that hard - anyone else having difficulty staring at something for 60 seconds?
or try this its alot easier ---> (_o_)(_o_)
But seriously ouch, i cant seem to stare at anything for more than 30 seconds, you think it could be coz of the damm computer? (im on 24/7)

Like $200 per eye, and why do you have to wait to be old enough? You can get it here anytime you want as far as I know. A friend of mine (14) had it done...

A friend of mine had it last year and had complications. He still goes in every once in awhile (but I'm not sure what the exact problem is). The procedure is safe, but definitely not as perfect as it could be.
I will still be waiting a few years. I already have eye problems and don't want them to get worse.

My gf had it done. No complications and she is very happy with it, she don't need glasses anymore at all.
She lives in England btw and had it done there.

$200/eye? thats only like £100 per eye? Man my dad paid like £1K for both eyes. No problems though, a lot easier without contacts - I'm thinking about getting it done when I turn 21 but i think you cant scuba dive for quite a while afterwards, and cant do any contact sports either?
