"I am a blood donor and I save lives" - This is the posted slogan at the hospital I went last Saturday.

I'm so happy donating 1 bag of blood to save my friend's mother suffering from an Ovary cancer.

This was the first time I became a blood donor. I'm so scared at first hoping to be rejected by the nurses assigned at the blood bank section. But in my mind, I need to passed to help my friend. In fact, this is all I can offer aside from being there when she was crying for the extension of her mother's life.

I remember the very first I tempted to donate a blood was when i'm at my 2nd year of college, but rejected because of having colds that time.

Honestly, I'm so nervous. I'm so scared seeing long and pointed injections. But the nurse was so good. I don't even felt the needle at my arm. Am.. if I'm not mistaken, it takes for about 5-10 minutes transferring blood.

I felt so proud of my self. From 15 persons, 2 persons only passed the screening. Thanks God I'm one of them. har har...
