It is worth the pain... but, hey, no one should be forced to do it

I give warning to some of you who donate blood. Some (i will not name who) do not use the blood for hospitals. huge "blood bank" names too. they instead sell the blood for experimentation.
I have a rare bloodtype so i try to donate often. Try to always get ones that are tied to large hospitals.
Happy Orange Juice afterwards

I'm not a blood donor because I have low blood pressure which is 90/70.

I'm an organ donor. When I die, my family better not set up an open casket ceremony because chances are I'm going to wind up looking like an impostor picasso. I could never, however, live with the thought of having some metal tube drilling into my flesh to suck away my blood. I would only do it if it were a matter of life or death for a friend or a member of my family... and then I'd probably need therapy. I'm 23 and I still shake and cry whenever I have to get a blood test :S

Wow, Are you feeling well now? I'm hoping you are not traumatized getting lots of blood tests.
Honestly, I'm afraid of injections.

I donate blood once every three months, and have been donating since I was 18. I'm now 27. That would make it 36 times.
I know of people who donate blood and make a big fuss out of it. It's really nothing, and we never know if and when an emergency will hit, so it helps to be prepared. I only wish more people would donate blood. Aside from the finger pricking, it's basically painless.

I want to follow what you have done at your your age. Although I started donating blood when I was 19.
Preparing yourself in any incidents can be a big less in hospital bills.

hmm... america's health systems so bad, there's rarely a shortage in the UK and people just donate to the NHS, I give blood regularly, but I don't think about it really. I just think I'd rather more of my blood type on store what if I need it later

Avery Honorable and life saving act.
Donate blood and save lives. It's overwhelming to donate blood to the most needy person.
Be a Blessing to others!

I have not tried donating blood yet. But I think it really feels so good to save lives, being a reason to lengthen the life of other people. But as much as I wanted to donate blood, I'm so much afraid of injections. It's one of the things that I'm really scared of. One more reason, I think I'm a low blooded person.
Cheers to those blood donors!
