Better yet, don't make these creatures as pets. They are better off in the wild.

For the 2nd time in less than 24 hours, I could not agree more...
I hope the agreement thing is not going to become a trend...

Don't mock me. This is done by a process called filial imprinting. Basically, many animals will take the first thing they see and interact with to be their parent. So by being the only thing there when an animal is born you can convince it you are it's parent if the real parent is removed.

Having a pet snake does NOT sound like a good idea to me, regardless of whether the animal is poisonous or dangerous or completely harmless towards human beings. Snakes just aren't meant to live in terrariums (or worse, CAGES!), I personally think it's something really cruel to do.

If any species can be called evil, it's ours.

This might seem a little "rude" - but seriously. If they were stupid enough to keep a predator in their house, maybe they should not have children. Maybe its better that their gene pool gets a little bleach thrown in it. That way the "stupid" genes stops with them.
Oh gee, lets keep a lion in our house. Oh gee, lets keep a tiger in our house,,,,, - a snake is no different. Its a small brained reptile predator. What do we really expect.

Strange thing is, I'd rather have a lion, a tiger and a snake than a kid.
