In addition to that, your silence for the mean time can also help in managing conflict. In just a few seconds of silence, you can think better than before.

Why? We are most driven by our emotions that's why.

I guess the best way to deal with conflicts is trying to undertsand the other one and discuss with him.

It's not always easy but one good thing is to reformulate : " if i have well understood what you told me ..." in order to show that you try to understand his point

Understanding one's point of view is hard especially when you have an ironic view in a certain issue.

We must practice such habit of understanding one;s views.
