If you get unsolicited spam PMs at V7N, let the Supermods know immediately. The perpetrators will most likely be banned fairly quickly.
By no means approach a mod with this type of problem cos we are way too busy to help |

There are a few settings within vBulletin that make this a non-issue. Since most spammers hit and run you can limit their PM usage by:
- creating a new member usegroup (members with 10 posts or less)
- limit the new member usergroup PM quota to between 2 - 5 messages.
This will literally bring PM abuse (by spammers anyway) to a complete halt.

The only time I swear and completely lose my cool is when I look at my paycheck. Since this has nothing to do with v7n in any way, shape or form it's quite likely I'll always be a little angel around here

I don't think it is much of an issue at V7N. Since I've been here I have only received a couple of unsolicited PMs, which have been dealt with very quickly by the mods.
But I'm sure Cricket will read your post with interest dude! |
