Didn't know you were asking a person name Cricket a question. Sorry, thought Cricket meant nobody was posting hence crickets. My bad. Wouldn't it be easier to pm him your question?

But then the dramatic flair would be missing. Plus she wouldn't get that little surge of adrenaline (so similar to caffeine) when she sees the title. Thirdly, if I kept the use of a french press for making excellent coffee hidden from the public by using PMs, other coffee lovers might not hear about it and miss out on something of paramount importance in their struggling lives.

Au contraire mon ami! You should not be ignored at all! If I were a betting man, I would place a modest, nay, a sizable wager on you fitting right in here at V7N and we're perfectly pleased to have you may I add.

Well! You simply have to rush right out and get one! I use an 8 cup Chambord. There are many styles, but this is the original. Elegant, functional and inexpensive. Best coffee you've ever had. I guaran-damn-tee it! You can pick one up at your nearest Target and in your case I checked and they have them in stock! So, no excuses! Naturally you have to use quality coffee...I recommend Starbucks French Roast.
I'll expect a full report on my desk by end of day tomorrow.

For what I spend at Starbucks it just might pay to pick one of these up! Yummy!

this one is at walmart for 20$ and is okay, but the glass breaks easy
my friend has bought two of them
he said you can get a good one on amazon for 40$ that is strong and wont break
I just stopped by his house yesterday and had a cup off his french press
I'm going to order one soon
he also has a grinder and grinds his beans fresh each time
it's wonderful

You might be thinking of the Brazil model which is 20 bucks. The Chambord is probably what your friend has. It's about $40. That's a good reminder about them breaking. Any of them will break easily if you use something metal like a spoon to stir, plus a spoon isn't really long enough to reach the bottom of the beaker. I've broken a couple too. Now I use a bamboo skewer and have no problems. That is to say, a skewer made of bamboo...

And I thought a public thread like this was to discuss the poor England cricket team showing in the test matches in England and was asking for help with how we could win the next Test match for a series win.
