As many of heard about the Doomsday December 21, 2012 the End of World

Well, my thoughts about that is the upcoming movie 2012. . Besides, no one knows about the Dooms Day- when and what date it will come.

Rubbish. This 2012 doomsday thing was only started from a certain civilizations calendar ending in that particular day or year. There's no solid basis on what will happen in that particular moment.

Plus, there are so many times people was scared by this kind of news and rumors about the world ending.

If you asked me I think it's just plain rubbish.

People have been "predicting" the end for thousands of years now... All designed to keep us fearful is my guess.

If it doesn't end, they will make another documentary about why "we" were wrong about that one and make up another one... If it ends, we will not be able to write about it so whats the difference?

I agree to zaizaices and pctec because I don't believe the prediction of Nostradamus or the End of Mayan Calendar in 2012 because no one can predict the "The End of World". Yes the World will become End when Sun is become Red Giant Star that will happen in a more million or billion years in the future. Another question to my self how many nuclear bombs should produce to vanish the Planet Earth? Gamma Ray Burst is not enough to vanish the Planet Earth.

I think there can be calamities, but the end of the world is unlikely in my opinion

I don't think that we should take it serious enough as every year there are some people who say that the Dooms day will come tomorrow. I hope the scientists realize the things they are doing.

I think that the Mayan blokes working on the calendar figured that "enough's enough" and thus ended the calendar rather than the world.

But I've always been optimistic.

Regarding 2012, I don't think the world will end by that date.
There may be natural calamities but the world will not END.

predictions are just plain prediction. obviously, there is no basis and scientific explanation about, it may be true, it may be false...its just the way it is.

That's why we are using a Julian-Gregorian Calendar not a Mayan Calendar.

The Mayans believed the conception of time was circular and that when an ending occurs something new begins.

No one really know if its true or not. Only god know if this going to happen but we all hope that this is not true. Lets all pray for this.

Maybe the world will End in 2012, it was a shock London hosting the Olympic games, lol.

but seriously people will use anything to predict things like end of the world, it is if you believe it or not. honestly i choose not to believe that the whole world will not end in 2012.
