I haven't viewed all 50 links as yet but the
modus operandi of
Kiva has always intrigued me. What I like about the concept is that it’s not about handouts. Those receiving funds know that they are expected to repay and I feel this lets them keep their dignity.
IMO, this is people helping people at its best because it generates “warm fuzzy feelings” at both ends: The lender’s and the borrower’s. A real win-win (pardon the cliche).
