I honestly don't get in a funky mood very often. (A guy I used to work for, once said, "Doc's just a happy-go-lucky cowboy!" I'm pretty sure he meant it as a disparaging remark, but I choose to take it as a compliment. )

On the rare occasions that I feel a little down, I like to go out in the shop and work on something. I've usually got an engine in mid-rebuild, and they ALWAYS need some cleaning, honing, painting... something to give them a new face. Kind of like me.

If I don't happen to have an engine on the stand, sex works pretty good, too.

Just like what is listed in the article, I cook and eat most of the time, but now I found another outlet - making videos! I sometimes make MTVs out of Japanese songs and I pay tribute to a friend or mentor... it works for me. It makes me appreciate the people around me.

That actually has some pretty good stuff, definitely great to print out and keep around for when you truly get overwhelmed to the point it's hurting your productivity.

Thanks for the tips.

What I do when in a bad mood or feeling low is go for a long walk all by myself. Another thing is to watch TV mindlessly without even paying attention to what I watch. The best yet is that I go to a book store and buy a book. This however works only when I have money

i can't change my mood, but lots of time when i am think negative then i am sleep for 4 - 5 hours or start playing Games

When I get grumpy on a cold winter day (or anytime the temp is below 55oF) I start a fire in one of our fireplaces and take my laptop computer to a nearby comfy chair. Fireplace + recliner + laptop + cats = bliss. Have to give up my second monitor, but it works for me.

Wow, they are just awesome! Tips for every possible situation in life!
As for my personal ways of raising my mood, I start drawing, and as I'm not very gifted, the pictures are very funny at times

Among those tips, I prefer tips under mental power. I believe our mind control our mood. Once we cannot change our mind and continue stay at "negative mind", we are unable to have happy mood.
