How old are your shoes?

This is an odd question, but I hate breaking in new shoes...and shopping. So I am still wearing a pair of Doctor Martin boots (almost every day) I've had since 2003. How old are your shoes?

Got a ton of boots and shoes, ages vary and in most cases I have no idea.

Typically get 'em at a resale shop cause my wife introduced me to those and I can get boots that would cost a couple of hundred dollars retail for anywhere from $5 - $30. Sometimes theyre already broken in, though frequently theyre darn near new as somebody figured out he wasnt a boots sorta fella. after they sat collecting dust.

Spend most of the workday in moccasins. They are born broke in. Anyway, if you hate breaking in boots, try the resale route. It's sorta addicting.

The recent one is around 4 months, the oldest one which is already discarded was 6 years old.

I have a pair of Jordan 13 shoes for about 1 years old. I think this is the most "longevous" pair for me.

Thanks,

I buy new shoes once a year and usually only keep 2 extra pair of shoes just incase i need to use one of them. Basically about 2 or 3 years old is the oldest pair i have.

I have a pair of steel toe workboots that are about 6 years old though. lol

Just to clarify, I wear my 7 year old shoes every day (unless I have to wear a suit and tie, which is rare). I have 2 holes in one and one in the other which I used a needle and thread to fix...man I'm pathetic.

I bought a pair of J.M Weston Strap Mocassin Casual Chic line 625 in Paris, Champs Elysées Avenue and kept it for almost 10 years. A very good and solid pair of shoes by the way.

French Master Shoemaker since 1891
You can still buy them in USA

Here in Nevada I use some RJ Colt sandals 10 month per year

I have two pairs of the same running shoes that are 3 years old. One is covered in paint, the other isn't. I just bought a nice pair of flip flops from Old Navy a couple of months ago.
