I'm guessing people think it's ugly due to the orange and black color making it appear rather "outdated".

I think it's ugly because it looks like as if some cheap pimp has designed it.
I personally like Aston Martin or the new (power) sports Bentley a lot more. Those are cars that have the power but don't look like the owner has a personality problem. (as in: Yeah baby I know I have this little tiny Penile but look at the size of my spoilers. )

I know it kind of looks racing, I personally go for performance combined with comfort instead of those cheap sporty seats.
This is the tech. details for the Aston Martin btw:
Top speed is more than 200 mph (321 km/h), the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) dash is accomplished in only 4.8 seconds while 0-100 mph (160 km/h) takes just 9.8 seconds. But it is the mid-range acceleration that is truly sensational; 50-70 mph (80-112 km/h) takes only 6.5 seconds in sixth gear
Bentley Continental GT that has about the same performances. Those are race cars too. but they have a different class.

You guys don't seem to appreciate the car for it's purpose. I'd obviously choose an Aston Martin or the other cars posted above. However, that car's purpose is to look "pimped out".
Having said that, I'm in love with the Aston Martin now

I kind of like the new Mustangs, but don't care for that one with the spoiler and such.
I really only like the new ones for the retro lines. The late 60s Mustangs are my true love.

It might be the redneck in me, but that's about as beautiful as a car gets.

Yeah, that's definitely a cool car.
I like some of the old American muscle cars. And I'll admit, some of the new mustangs do catch my eye. But again, there are just too many of them...and all of the non v-8's are pussy ****! And the interior is about as bad as it gets.

I'm no redneck, but I'm with you 100%. I love the new mustangs... but not a big fan of "over-pimping". The late 60's early 70's mustangs were hot, and the 2005 mustangs have similar styling. I own a 35th Anniversary Edition (99) mustang convertible... I'm looking forward to picking up one of the new ones soon...
