It finally started snowing here!

About 2 hours late, and it just started.

Whew. I didn't want to miss it!

Well, it just started snowing and it is sticking. Forecasters were a tad early in their predictions, but it looks like I may be snowed in this weekend if this keeps up.

We have a few inches so far. Not sure of the official amount. The roads are pretty bad.

I'll be surprised if we get over 3 or 4 inches. I think people just like to panic about the weather.
Cant they plow that much? Where the hell are you from Australia?

In my fathers day, he said they had, like, a 12 foot snow storm. I still don't know weather to believe him. But I do know a lot of people died that year. There's been specials on TV about it...

He showed me pictures of telephone poles. They look like mail boxes.

I always have wondered how people from the West Coast can handle our weather.

The problem is when it falls to fast for the state plows to keep up. With hundreds if not close to a thousand plows on the roads and several thousand miles of roadway to plow and keep clear it can take quite a long time to get the rural areas clear. Its not unheard of for rural areas to have their roads untouched for days aftera bit snow storm because the plows are working the more 'important' roadways.

Columbus never gets much snow. We haven't gotten more than 5" in like 7 years.

You think thats bad JS? My sister lives in Washington D.C. and if there is one inch, the whole city shuts down

ANYWAY, snow is about 6-7 inches where i am right now. Doesn't look like its getting much worse, but i don't know....
