This thread dedicated to the memory of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 and not the place for controversial or disrespectful comments.
It is simply a time to remember....

This is a day that both myself and my parents will never forget.
Sept. 11th is my parents wedding anniversay. A few days before this day, my dad had a major surgury and was in the hositpal for 2 weeks. I was already helping my dad out with his wedding anniversay present to give to my mom even though he was healing up. So i woke up at 6 a.m. got ready for work because i was going to work afterwards (bring the gifts to him) in the morning anyways.
I was in my dad's room talking to him to kill some time before leaving and well to get his spirits up while watching the news. We watched the whole thing unfold on the t.v. and both of us including the nurse that was in the room was in complete shock. It's hard to describe how we was feeling at that moment.
The company i work for had an account with a firm in one of the towers, we lost one "on-site" technican. Our company did a disaster relief shift for 2 weeks working 7 days a week, 24 hours a day configuring pc's, laptop's, servers..we had to get our client's business up and rolling and fast. I worked 14 hour days for 1 week straight because i wanted to do my part in helping out the client get there business back to normal. We raised a lot of money for our fellow tech's family.
My parents have stopped celabrating there wedding anniversay on Sept. 11. Just to many memories popup on this date for them.
BTW, i never went to work that day. Spent the day with my dad and soon there-after my mom.
