Dreams

Definition:

1.) The ones we have when asleep

2.) Something we're looking forward to in the future

Both OK

I'll start with a sleepy dream~

In my childhood I had a re-occurring dream of traveling on a river in a canoe. Most of it was normal except that the river was going upwards. Then every time I would pass by a hut that scared me a little, but nothing happened there, and in the end I'd end up approaching a city and everything was fine. Then I usually woke up. Had the same dream many times

What about you?

I don't want to describe my dream. But I want to tell you something else.
My boyfriend told me yesterday, he used to have a dream. After he dreamed that dream, he just felt impossible. But after several, the matter he used to dream of just come true. Very same as his dream. Can you believe that? Do you have this kind of experience?

Yea that happens

I had a scary experience waiting for my wife in my car some months ago. We were outside a large shopping area, I had parked by the road and was pretty tired. While waiting I figured I could take a short nap and did so.

It was evening, dark outside and I had put down the seat so I was basically lying down in the front. I actually fell into some shallow sleep state, and suddenly in my mind or in the dream I saw somebody approach the car. I opened my eyes and just that moment a man came by the door right beside me holding a child. He tried to open the door but it was locked. Our car window is dark so he couldn't see inside but after trying to open twice he turned around and left.

I'm pretty sure it was a car thief. But the really strange thing was that I saw him in my dream just before it happened in reality. Pretty cool

A friend had a (1) dream the other night that he asked my opinion on.

In the dream: He was bitten by a black snake 5 times.

He awoke with a feeling of trepidation not knowing what the dream meant. I had my own personal view but I'd be interested to hear what other people think it symbolises...

I had a reoccurring dream when I was about 3-5 years old. In the dream, I was being chased by a giant black spider...

Who knows why.....but this is real.

Hey Dan, here's some input regarding the snake. Found it online:

Quote:
I had a dream about two black snakes chasing me and one of them bit me then I woke up all sweaty. Could you tell me the significance of the snakes?
Answer:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
It would depend on the association you had with the dream. Did you struggle with the snake or did it wither and die after it bit you? Gillian Holloway, Ph.D. identifies being bitten by a snake as meaning different things. She says, "In many dreams a single snake will come to bite you, and you may in fact be bitten after a brief struggle. To your amazement though, you will not die, and may find that the situation is not as bad as you thought." According to Holloway you have this kind of dream if you are struggling with some problem, relationship or challenge. "Such a snake-ordeal is an important signal that you are going through a kind of initiation; a psychological and spiritual trial that has the potential to change your life for the better if you deal with it bravely and with a clear heart. You may have to give up something you thought you couldn't, or take a stand for your principles or faith."

If the snake withered and died after it bit you then it could be a dream of a sexual nature replicating the male orgasm. Snakes can also indicate trouble in your life. It could mean that something is worrying you and needs to be resolved by you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Cheers
I'd opt for the orgasm theory, hehe

Somebody just robbed me in my last dream
And for some reason I wasn't sad about it, I kept laughing

Sounds like a healthy sign, I bet he robbed something you wanted to get rid of.
Maybe a live hand-grenade?

Nope, my wallet, containing $120
Not sure why I would want to get rid of that

So anyone got those creepy dreams of being chased by zombies or bad guys etc?
I have those now and then, usually combined with me learning how to fly by making breast stroke swimming movements @.@

All I wanna say about the dream is in the in the words of great scientist APJ Abdul Kalam:-

Quote:
Dream is not that what you see in sleep. Dream is the thing which does not allow you to sleep.
That is dream

usually when a person dream of a certain place, it would be the same place in reality and in their dreams. but in my case, it's different. fro example, when im dreaming about our house, it's a different house. a little bigger or more often than not, it's somebody's house. though in my dreams i know it's ours.

weird huh?

May be I'm crazy, but sometimes I may control my dream and I realize perfectly that I'm dreaming, so I may do whatever I want with no consequences! I really enjoy this my ability!

You could partner up with Leonardo DiCaprio on that Or maybe it's astral dreams @.@

That happens to me a lot in dreams. Either people or places. It's like I'm sure they're friends or family or here and there, but it's different.

My favorite dreams are about jumping around, flying and having super abilities, hehe

Generally I don't remember my dreams. It often bugged me as I hear about all these fanciful visions that other people have. However, on the odd occasion I do remember, they most often come true. Very weird.
