Instant messenger client

I'm looking for an instant messenger client that can handle icq and msn. I know people who use Miranda, but I really don't like it...

What are the options ?

I found Integrity messenger and liked the looks of it. Anyone tried it out ?

Looks pretty good too. Is that skin the default ? Is the basic version enough ?

Basic version is enough that skin is the default. It is skinnable.

I just use the individual ones. I hate those all in one programs. They never have all the options as the individuals have.

I understand your problem there, but I usually just use the common features like sending/receiving files, messages a.s.o.

The one thing I hate is how you can't use webcam with a bunch of the all in one programs. My dad travels alot, and pretty much the only time I get to see him is when we webcam chat. So that is a big one for me. I don't know, I just prefer the different programs.

Hello,

I just wanted to point something out to you from the msn 6.1 licence that you might like to read:

Quote:
2. CLIENT SOFTWARE USE LIMITATION

You may only use Microsoft client software or authorized third-party software to access and/or use the Service. A list of authorized third-party software can be found at 'http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Authorized.aspx'. You may not use any software or services in conjunction with Microsoft client software or authorized third-party software which modifies or reroutes, or attempts to modify or reroute, the Service. You may not authorize any third party to access and/or use the Service on your behalf using any automated process such as a BOT, a spider or periodic caching of information stored by Microsoft on your behalf without a separate written agreement with Microsoft. You may not use any software or hardware that reduces the number of users directly accessing or using the Service (sometimes called 'multiplexing' or 'pooling' software or hardware).
You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services that are part of the Service except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use.
It's kinda sucky that they made it like that. hopefully trillian and the like will get permission before MS starts shutting down accounts.

Anyway:

http://www.miranda-im.org is quite good, Gaim is meant to be better, but i have not tried it.

BEST software I've ever used in my life, loved it so much I bought Pro, that $25 never went to a better cause. Web cams on MSN and Yahoo! tabbed windows (One window, multiple chat tabs) and GLOBAL AWAY MESSAGES! YAY!

Love love love love love.
