SE k750i

Definitely love it, it does everything i need it to, plus it has an awesome auto focus 2 megapixel cam on it, which is really great. MP3 player is cool and sounds perfectly good, bit limited feature wise but plays them well enough, you can't use your own phones on it though sadly, although there's an accessory that lets you convert the jack. Screen is very clear and high resolution, has the ability to play 3D games too, although those tend to suck

Overall it's the best phone i've ever had, easily.

I have a kyocera. I like that it works - lol

Actually, I use a local cell phone provider - Cricket.

$55/mo unlimited long distance in the US and unlimited text messaging.

No roaming, but, that's ok, I stay local.

I know that's not an answer to your question, but I like the deal I got. So, I take any chance I get to tell folks about it.

Motorola V265. It's got the camera and whatnot on it, but I really don't use the phone as much more than a phone. The voice-activated dialing and speakerphone are handy.

This is my second Motorola and I got a ton of useage out of the last one. Tough phones. Plus it's pretty cheap in the world of phones.

I have an MDA (Qtek 9100), not just a cellphone. it runs on windows mobile 5.0, has internet explorer, outlook, media player, word, excel, powerpoint, msn messenger, WIFI, pc connection+synchronisation, etc.. It also has a 1.3 megapixel video camera, and I have 2 GB storage. + unlimited internet access. YAY!

In America, I got a T-Mobile phone which I hate, and in Japan I have a Docomo SH901iS. The Japanese phones always seem to be a couple steps ahead of the US phones.

Cant you just switch the sim card, is the phones code-locked or hardware-locked?

Wish that Docomo phone worked in the US.

Davey, what's the next step down from that? It's $400 for the unlocked version, thats like double what I wanted to spend

Thanks guys.

You can buy phones unlocked or just do it yourself here. We use SIM cards in the US, dunno how it is over there. Verizon uses like cdma or something like that

The step down from it is the k700i, well at least in England it is. Certainly a lot cheaper!
