Blizzard: Live in the mid-west? How deep is it?

I realize I am posting this a bit early but then it will be here for you in the morning when you can't get out of the house.

Do you live in the Midwest? How deep is the snow this morning? How much more is on the way for your area?

Better yet take a few pictures and post them over in this forum: http://www.v7n.com/forums/digital-photography/ You don't have have an expensive camera to post pictures over there. If you happen to be the first just create a Blizzard thread. Don't be shy.

Cricket never gets any snow where she lives so loves to look at your pictures. It gives her an excuse to turn up the heat.

I just looked out the window and it's snowing out.

It is scheduled to all pass north of here. A heavy rain event is all we should get.

When I posted the above I did not realize the northeast was getting another round. The local talk radio station focuses on the west since that is our weather pattern.

We have an unbelievable 26 degrees F with a windchill factor of 19 degrees. It is insanely cold for us.

That must be a 100 year storm for your location. I bet you can't get the heat high enough. Another degree or two and you will be too cold to chirp.

Woke up to wind and snow and 18 degrees this morning. Snow isnt deep, but you could ice skate on the horses water trough, so it had to be busted with a hammer and have buckets of hot water from inside added. Stopped snowing, and it's a balmy 14 degrees now.

Not used to this stuff, it'd freeze the balls on a pool table.

Well the weather people lied so far. Today it was just foggy with a light drizzle. Left work tonight and thought it was just rain on my windshield but it turns out it was just ice.

I just got new windshield wipers this past Friday and just ruined them tonight. Maybe it'll snow tonight because the forecast calls for it.

I'm in Central Indiana. We have had about 2 inches of ice and an inch of snow so far.

Every time I go out I'm fooling with keeping critters from the effects of this little bit o Montana that got lost in north Texas. Havent had a chance to fool with a camera. Had a boatload of bunnies around the front based on the tracks, including some youngsters hitting the bales of coastal on the porch. Saw a couple of adult hoppers in the back keeping Pistol company (actually, eating his hay most likely). They're all out foraging for something that isnt covered in ice.
