Curious, what kind of marketing message board does not let you talk about other legit websites that offer advertisement?
ww.smashmyviper.coms not exactly google ads, but it is a legit place to advertise online, just as ww.milliondollarhomepage is. I am looking for advice on advertising on that site, not spamming this board.
Sorry just did not feel a good welcome to the site. Marketing is marketing, whether on google ads, or on crazy websites. I am more of the adventerous type and looking to take a risk on something that could have huge returns.
thanks.

After a little research we have found out that you are Jason G. One of the owners of that site and that makes you not only a spammer but a liar too.

I'll add my .
Whether or not bizness2 is the owner of that viper site, it is a waste of money to advertise there. The original site worked because it was an original idea, coupled with good PR and a lot of luck at just the right time. It was lightning and lightning rarely strikes twice in the same spot. There are literally thousands of websites just like that one now and they are all failing. It was a good idea...... once.
So, it doesn't really matter if the viper site is yours or not. It's a waste of money to advertise on it.
I'd love to see the guy start smashing up his viper, just to see the money dry up about $990,000 short. DOH!

LOL.
I like this forum even more now. Good job guys! If anything, It was a good attempt on my part was it not? I was really looking for feedback on my website and what advertisers think of it. I cannot simply post that about my site without being deleted because its considered spam. Unfortuneatly i have to go the route of acting like someone else interested in it to do the reasearch on what other people think.
However I really do like your guys feedback so far, It is not easy to get educated and thought out responses and I apologize for the spam, but I do give you 2 thumbs up for going the distance and figuring it out.
I mean i came here because its a marketing forum, and im looking for what advertisers think of the site, not attempting to sell anything to any of you. Just want the breakdown of what people who potential spend money are looking for. So if possible I would like to ask those kind of questions without having threads deleted, or do you consider that spam?
Thanks.

I gave you mine and it was objective. The kid that had the first website like that got lucky with timing, publicity, etc. That's why it worked. But now, there are thousands of pixel sites out there and the idea is no longer unique. It would be great if we could ALL just put up a pixel website and make a million dollars, but that's not going to happen.
And, you have to realize that lots of people post messages like yours when they first arrive at a forum. That's one of the reasons it was sniffed out immediately. Research or not, it was rude and that's why you received the welcome that you did.
My prediction, if you actually go ahead with this idea, is that you will get one or two guys who have extra money to burn and think it would be cool to make you trash your car, all the while knowing that you will never get your million dollars.
The best advice I can offer you is to sell your viper, get a Kia or a Hyundai and use the extra money as a down payment on a property suitable for that bar you want to open. Get a loan (or better yet, an investor) to cover the rest of your expenses to open the bar and then WORK YOUR ASS OFF to make your bar successful.

Thanks for the response.
I agree that the whole pixel advertising phase is over. But see all the copy cats sites are the same. I think smashmyviper.com put a good enough twist on it that could make it successful. Mainly i think that because Its more marketable, the videos and entertainment factor are more likely to be picked up by press.
Also you have to realize that if any money is made over the cost of the viper, then i make profit. If your not familiar with vipers, they cost $85,000 new, but i have a 1994, with some miles on there, it will not take too much to cover the cost of the car and hit profit. I have done all the site work myself and had hardly any start up cost, so the goal really is to make enough to cover the car.
At that point, any more money is obviously just profit. Taking out a loan for a bar is definetely an option, but it will cost me more in interest in one year then the viper costs. So i figure this is at least worth a shot? Or do you think its a waste of my time?
I made almost 6 grand in a month. Doesnt mean i will make anymore, but also realize that I can use that 6 grand to repair all the damage done to the car so far and I just break even. (so i really am in a win win situation) besides the fact that im losing time. (but at least its fun).

Just think of me a pest and you were right on the money. Obviously you were on to me from the get go, but I thought i would give you the work around and see how far I could go. However, you guys are on top with your research and cracked it down. So thumbs up.

We have a website review. What you did was totally unnecessary. We are very honest in our reviews.
You have managed to get more red in less than 24 hours than anyone I have ever seen. You accomplished something, at least. You exemplify everything that is wrong with the internet and everything I hate about online marketers. You all think you're so slick. I haven't met one yet that managed to fool me into beliveing his or her BS. You're no exception. You attempt at subterfuge was as feeble and unpolished as your attempt at marketing.
Real slick...

You can't honestly believe he has a Viper to trash. He will photoshop (poorly) the damage on a stock picture.
He might get a job at the carwash. That's as close as he's getting to a Viper.

Well you underestimate people sometimes. Spam is something annoying with the internet, but the reason it exists is because it works.
One post on a forum has lead to a $500 sales within a few minutes later. Spam is a lame, but you get some noticed. Do you think all those sexual enhancement product emails that are in your email everyday dont work? The are.
I would think thats a lame and pathetic way of marketing, but those people are making millions, and you are here critizing them, I give them thumbs up. They are lame, but they are raking in the money, so they are doing something right. I am not here to spam though, i am here for feedback, and like i mentioned earlier, (no hard feelings) but I figured I would have to pose as someone interested in my website to get information about it. Now that You mentioned the website review i will more then glady take it there. Thanks.

LMAO
Something else you lied about. You're damned sure not 34. No one could live 34 years and be so clueless about human nature!
You are half that - 17. You are an unskilled con artist, a lousy liar and a waste of flesh.
You will not get a review here, except maybe people having fun trashing your site.
Now, as my British friends say, bugger off, tosser...

Well if you read the site im 23 and just out of college.
And you forget, people trashing the site, is only more publicity. "hey you here about that stupid smashmyviper.com website?" thats another unique visitor lol im just joking.
You also forget, that when the milliondollarhomepage was first talked about, people thought it was the stupidest idea they have ever seen, and no way advertisers would pay for such a small ad.
now everyone thinks hes a genious and some brain child because it worked.
A stupid idea, is only one that does not work.
