Hi I own a online flower website/company and recently registered here to ask advice on advertising on another webpage.

However, every thread i make is deleted because michael allison believes i am spamming.

Curious, what kind of marketing message board does not let you talk about other legit websites that offer advertisement?

www .smashmyviper.com is not exactly google ads, but it is a legit place to advertise online, just as www.milliondollarhomepage is. I am looking for advice on advertising on that site, not spamming this board.

Sorry just did not feel a good welcome to the site. Marketing is marketing, whether on google ads, or on crazy websites. I am more of the adventerous type and looking to take a risk on something that could have huge returns.

Also if you have even visited that website, and know anything about marketing, I am sure you can see why I would want to advertise on it. which is why im on here looking for advice, not just YOUR advice. I would like to know what other people think of it.

Its pretty obvious you think its spam, which is why you keep deleteing my posts. how about going and looking at that site... and realizing what you are deleting?

It is a website allowing people to purchase advertisement space, did you delete threads about milliondollarhomepage.com? because if you did, you are not a smart one.

The admin you are whining to had posted that you may as well flush your money down the toilet. That's what he thought. The most senior moderator was the first to recommend the thread be deleted.

I am not one to fuss about things, but after registering to a new forum and asking advice, and being deleted 2 times, it gets somewhat frustrating because someone is quick to hit the delete button before reading about what I am asking.

I was told this board has a good marketing crowd, hence why their opinion matters greatly to me.

also, according to that websites case study, the advertisers who have already paid to advertise, are getting 1000's of clicks to day, for a mere $100, over a few weeks, that is brining cost per click to pennies. That is a successful website if there ever was one, and in terms of advertising online, you cannot just pay pennies for 1000's of clicks.

Their link to their websites will be up for years to come, and the more clicks, the more cost per click goes down. If the site does get media attention, it will have cost per click under 1/10th of a penny.

And this is something that sucks? and should not even be discussed?

you are a moderator? do some research on a page first at least, you cannot simply look at the homepage and say "IT SUCKS FLUSH YOUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN".

thats what im looking for!

just discussion of what advertising on that page could do for my company, now and if it was to get alot of media attention.

Well, if it matters to you, I did have a look at that site and believe it's a waste of money to advertise on there.

I think it could be a waste of money to advertise on there if it flops, but if gets media attention, then I am not sure, that is what i want to determine.

I can understand, it is a marketing forum that i was posting on.. so what better place to attempt to advertise your business.
