Well, considering that you get arrested and jailed in the US for as little as an expired driving licence and other things that will only get you a ticket in other countries I doubt that there are many Americans above the age of 40 who have never been handcuffed....or worse.

My parents, older sister, all my dads siblings (14), all my moms siblings, her mother, and my dads parents have never been handcuffed.

But my moms father was when he was caught drunk driving.
