What is need of body fitness?

Hi All,

Please share here your opinion how keep body fitness, your suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

You have to start off at the grass-roots level before you begin training to get fit. What I mean by this is that you have to firstly sort out your eating habits write a 3-5 day diary of EVERYTHING (including those sweets we sneak) onto it as this is part of what a PT will want to see.

My golden rule of thumb is this: You can't out-train a bad diet.

Once you've done this for about 1-2 weeks, you then begin to implement your training routine. This gives you time to think about what you are going to do and get mentally ready for it during the 1-2 week period.

Ok, I haven't listed any workouts here but they are COMPLETELY USELESS if your diet is wrong and your mind is not there.

Get these two sorted and the mind becomes more focused, clearer and the body starts feeling healthier, you will start to have more energy and the rest will just happen.

Everyone has to decide for themselves on the important things in life. Is it more important to stay healthy, indulge in unhealthy habits, or live a disciplined lifestyle?

Maintaining good health is really simple, not always easy. Eat sensibly, discipline yourself to eat the right foods, the right amount, avoid the wrong ones and get regular exercise. Your exercise should include a regular routine , with cardio as well.

It's not rocket science. You can look in the mirror and ask yourself if you look the way you want to look. If you answer yes, then you're probably doing a lot right. If you answer no, you can start the change right now.

Get up and go to sleep at regular time. And have three meals a day in time. Better with some exercise, the key is persistence.

We have to do "YOGA"for our body fitness as well as morning walk..

Well, first of all you need to have a fitness goal.Deciding if you want to lose weight,gain muscle mass,toned up;get stronger and leaner.Once you know your target goal,eating a good balance meal will help your body in productions.You can train 3 to 5 days of week.
Try to keep it around 45 minutes.A more experience person might train longer.

I agree with G10 even if you work out when your diet is wrong, you will be wasting a lot your time .. review your diet and make it routine and you will be good to go even without exercise...

you need to eat regularly healthy food ,fresh juice etc and regular exercise like jogging and walking is best to keep your body fitness....

There can be different ways. For genral fit you may do just simple exercises or jog, or when you want to get rid of particular problem, then you need to set up a programme of exercises.

You have to do 3things:
• Everyday you need 8-9 glass water
• Do some yoga, Exercise and pranayam
• Eat healthy food

Nobody is willing to help the beginners this days, I mean in the gym. I just paid for 1 month to do some lifting because I am out of shape badly ( I never worked out in a gym before). When I got there I saw a lots of alien machines everybody speaking about the correct positions, about groups of muscle to work in a session and I did not get squat because the local trainers did not helped me at all.

Hi,

For me the best way to attain body fitness is discipline and self control. Have a proper diet and regular exercise. Eat nutritious foods and avoid junk foods and soft drinks.

Any kind of Exercise every day. farmers live long because they have to work hard on the farm. So do the atheletes and players.My grand ma is going to celebrate her 95 birthday.
2000 ML water everyday
Milk and milk products, all kind of green vegetables, Meat and eggs everyday.
Carbohydrate,fat,protein,vitamin,minerals etc everyday.
Positive thinking.
No anger.
No jealousy.
No Smoking and no hard drinking.
Sleeping 7 hours every night.
No priority to junk foods.
Try to Be close to nature.

Nice tips, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna fail at the anger part every day. I also smoke and drink once per week or so...

1. Wake early
2. Drink water
3. Walk for 45 mins & some exercises or Yoga
4. Eat Healthy
5. Lunch must be optimal
6. Eat your dinner before 8PM
7. Go to bed early
8. Sleep well

Drink plenty of water, avoid junk food etc., If we follow them.. we will be healthy and fresh.

All of the basics have been covered pretty well in this thread. It's all about managing your diet, exercise habits, and overall lifestyle. Personally, I play basketball, go to the gym at least a few times a week to lift, and try not to over eat when it comes to junk food. I also try to stick with "real" food and eat a lot of protein.

You don't have to follow every health tip out there in order to be healthy. A lot of it comes down to finding what works for you, willpower, and common sense.

So true....too bad.

When night-time comes there is no "diet" control whatsoever, kinda like Dracula....next days workout never quite makes up the difference.

I do following thing to remain fit and fine:

1. Wake up early in the morning
2. Do some workout for 1 hrs
3. Then after bath, have a breakfast, its must in morning which is essential for brain.
4 Then have a healthy and complete lunch as per diet only. Never over eat anything.
5. After lunch take a walk little bit till you feel relax.
6. Then take a rest for a while. Never ever sleep in afternoon if not required.
7 After some rest get back to your work
8. At night take some light dinner as per your diet. Here also never over eat if not required.
9. After dinner take a walk for a while.
10 Then rest for some time
11 And go to bed early so that you wake up early.

During all this daily routine, drink as much water you can.
