Paris Hilton In Indian Director's 'mother Teresa'?.
Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 12 Well known Malayalam director T. Rajeevnath, scouting for a suitable actress to play the title role in his film on Nobel Peace laureate Mother Teresa, has sent feelers to American actress Paris Hilton.
"My agents in California have contacted Paris Hilton," Rajeevnath told IANS.

I must say if Paris is casted for this role there would be no way I would see this movie.
How on earth is she a suitable actress?
What do you people think?

May have to spice up the script a bit, call it Mamma T, and give her some knee pads.

I think she has all the right attributes for the role and can see no valid reason why she shouldn't get it.
Paris Hilton can't act,
Mother Terresa wasn't an actress either.
On a more serious note though, you would have to be pretty messed up to consider her for the role.

If, by some "miracle", she actually does manage to pull it off ( ) then I guess that would prove she's a good actress after all.
Strange choice, though. Makes you wonder if there were certain "benefits" to the deal for the director or producer, or both.

She's a sweet, innocent girl. I'm sure she'd be perfect.

Far from Innocent, I feel sorry for Mother Teresa, its a bit of an insult for her to have this rich bimbo to portray her!
What a crazy director.

I really think someone a bit older, and respectable should portray Mother Theresa, this is truly an insult.
I can think of better actresses if it has to be someone young, say Mandy Moore, or Canada's very own, Rachel McAdams... like come on, so disappointing.

Someone of Mother Theresa's descent would be ideal, an Albanian actress. Shouldn't have to be famous.
She's going to be rolling over in her grave if Paris gets the role, what's this world coming to?

I think that Paris Hilton is more the opposite of mother Theresa!
This is truly an insult.
And btw, Paris Hilton can't act!

Totally agree that's why I find it so odd that she would be perfect for this role.

jup. It's all about the money these days, the current movies suck, there aren't decent ones about what's really important in life, and that isn't money (sure, money makes life easy!).

I agree, the movies that are made nowadays are all about the money ( weren't they all ) but we used to hget movies like the godfather, which made an impact on people. Nowadays we get movies like war of the worlds... :S
Soon we'll see the movie snowwhite, ( the remake starring a pornstar or whatever )

Maybe an Indian actress would suit the role better than some American whore, as Mother Teresa was from Calcutta.

hmm I think they should use an actress that is not well known, makes the film much more realistic
