Read a good book lately? I did. A share.

I know we have an old book thread but I can not find it and it is most likely too old to post to.

I quite often read older books since I subscribe to the theory that a new book is one you have not read. I just read a good one, at least 7 on 10 scale. When I went looking for a link you could follow, I found it is now a movie, one I may have to see since it is now second run here.

For your reading pleasure I suggest: Water for Elephants is a historical novel by Sara Gruen. It is a engrossing story about circus life in the US in the 1930's. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_for_Elephants.

hey I just watch the movie last night and this was really so wonderful and I would like to read the novel too. Reading the story is always a different kind of experience. Its just feel like we are in the story world.

I know that it's not for everyone, but the Song of Ice and Fire series that has "Game of Thrones" is really good. I'm on the second book now. I'm also currently reading, "From the Corner of His Eye," by Dean Koontz.

"Lonesome Dove" by Larry McMurtry. Just a beautiful book. Truly the great American novel.

i have just completed sons and lovers and i have discovered a lot of things about mothers and their sons its incredible that a mother can compete for love with the sons lover....it was full of sorrow but i have learned a lot...
