Everyone has made their comments....it seems pretty split down the middle. How about putting up a poll? Let the votes decide. :D

I love writing; I'll write about anything, any style, any topic. I do a ton of writing about home care for one client; did a bunch of research and figured out how it worked, now I can write whatever you want about it :D

I think having a place to give suggestions to text is a great idea; I'd be happy to give suggestions; but I kinda think writing is like any other art form - you can teach it, but it takes a special skill to really take it to the next level .02

With content as important as it is and this forum covering webmastery, I think it's a great idea.

Hahaha, well I would have used it... It would have been helpful to have some people on here that actually specialize in legal issues like copyrighting.

Well, I TRIED to start a new thread on Copywrting, but maybe it's a good thing it didn't work, since I brilliantly omitted the link to the free, unbelievable all-encompassing site which pretty much lays it all out there. Allow me to rectify that: http://www.21webcopysecrets.com
There. Thank you.

This happens to be one of my very favorite topics. I would be absolutely thrilled to see a forum dedicated to it.

surfan 04-13-2006 01:27 PM

Hmmm. mebbe another little boo-boo I do. Ebook, yes, it might accurately be described better as
link to the free, unbelievable all-encompassing eBook which pretty much lays it all out there.
Thank you.

JuggoPop 04-13-2006 01:52 PM

;)

Well when you pitch it that way is seems like spam... but I decided to check it out anyway... but it wasn't a site... and I don't do ebooks.

that's why I replied.

John Scott 04-13-2006 08:11 PM

Yeah, smells like spam to me...

surfan 04-14-2006 02:49 AM

Wow. If offering people an eBook which is free, positively brilliant, absolutely instructional on a subject one expresses interest in is spamthen perhaps I labor under a misconception.

JuggoPop 04-14-2006 07:00 AM

No... I think it's the way you offer a "free, unbelievable all-encompassing, positively brilliant, absolutely instructional" link. And the fact that your a new member...

those two things are common place for spammers... join the forum, and "sell stuff", even if it's free, looks like your trying to driving traffic.

We have a lot of topics on this... and if your really just trying to help us out, stick around, give us time to get to know you before you hit us with a sales pitch and we (as a community) are more likely to be open to your invites.

Also, if you had said "Hey I know an ebook you guys might like about this subject... anyone want the link?"... you probably would have had people tell you "sure". Then you post the link and it's not spam. ;) it's more of a welcomed tool.

You have to realize that a lot of people don't join forums to learn, they join to spread their links... so we are just on edge a bit when we see "the oversale" of a link.

Again welcome to the fourms.

Is it your own site?
