I'm no expert on arranged marriages, but I do have a friend from Pakistan (Punjabi culture) that was leaving Korea to meet his finacee. Of course it was an arranged marriage so he had never met his future wife.

When I asked him if he was happy that his parents were arranging the marriage, he said of course he was. After all he knew his parents would find someone wonderful for him. He should actually be back in Korea with his new wife soon.
