Are you willing to click others ads?
Have you clicked ads on others' site?
Most sites/forums I go are webmaster related and I have not sent 1 hit on their ads. most of the image ads have been blocked by my FF plungins
thats why most webmaster site will not put up Google banners like v7n, right?
how about you?

If I e.g. read an article on some blog and I like it or it helps me I click on the owners AdSense (if he got AdSense installed) to show my gratitude.
I never click on Popups, they're blocked anyway

Agreed.
I would like to see popups become a thing of the past as at least 90% of the time, they are just anoying.
More popup blockers, less power to the ads.

If i visit a website and the ads get my attention, i will click the ads. Why not give a chance for people to earn money while you can get the information you want ?

Yeah. If I find (or think) the ad will help me in some way, why not click on it? That's what it's there for.

I think clicking on an ad as a show of appreciation is rather short-sighted. It is like making a donation to a website with someone else's money.
The advertiser has to foot the bill, leaving him/her wondering why his/her conversions from content ads are almost non-existent. If it is an adsense ad, it will most likely be a webmaster related, so while you believe you are helping someone in the webmaster community you are damaging another.

At the end of the day this is a risk the webmaster is taking using Adsense anyway so I have absolutely no sympathy. I click adsense without the intention of buying (not my own of course) and I wouldn't use the adsense service for advertising, for this reason. Textual ads simply arn't as good as graphical ones.
To answer the orginal question I don't usually click ads unless they're of interest or I feel the webmaster deserves it, the one that I keep clicking on here and have now finally bookmarked the site is "Free Website Ideas" in the top. It stands out like a sore thumb and the content is great.

Adsense has graphical ads as well. In fact, they just rolled out some new sizes. Most people tend to use the text ads though.

By clicking on ads just to "help" the webmaster you are committing fraud. Period.
It's people like you that are the MAIN reason adwords advertisers (myself included) are wising up and electing to NOT allow their ads to be published in the content network. There's just too much fraud. It's not worth it.

I click on ads that lead me to information about a topic I'm looking for (but not all the time). I can't say I've ever bought anything as a result of clicking an ad, but it does lead you to some helpful info at times.

LOL So your going to take me to court for clicking a hyperlink on a webpage? Last time I checked that wasn't fraudulent. Its like a Sunday-Browser in a Sales orientated shop.

You might look at it differently if you were (for example) a clothing designer who had to pay that shop every time a "browser" walked into their store, knowing that the reason you walked into the store was not to look at clothes, but because you wanted the shop owner to drive a better car.
If you think a website is cool, don't click on their ads, PayPal them some money or send them a complimentary e-mail.
Why should an advertiser pay them because you think their website is cool?

I'm sorry... please show me where I said anything about court?
All I said was that clicking the ads just to help out the webmaster is fraud. Now is that true or false?
Besides why take anyone to court when I can just choose to not advertise in the content network?
