Why do we travel? Should we give a little time to our self?

I think travelling alone or with your only soul mate is a best way make you more confidential and it gives you more relief.

Traveling is a great way to charge your batteries.

I usually go to Maine twice a year. I own a summer home there.

I am planning on going to Paris sometime this year. I don't know when. I would like to go to the UK too, preferably London.

I agree with you that travelling to the place that you like with your soul mate is the best way to spend any holiday in general. I still don't know about the coming year. Surely I want to travel somewhere.

My new wife and I have traveled to our summer home in Michigan a couple of times....
It is a two day drive.......
We thoroughly enjoy the time together and have a really fun trip......

Now we have added a small dog and the trip is even more enjoyable......))

Not sure if you'd call it "travel" in the sense you mean, but yes, I need to make some trips this year to handle some business.

My brother has asked me to come visit next week, neighboring state. Not too far. If I can get things in order here, and the animals taken care of, I hope to go visit. He said we'll camp out at my sister's house and we'll all just hash over old times all weekend. I'd love it, I moved to be closer to them almost 2 years ago, and so far I've only visited on Thanksgiving Day both years.

If I could, I'd go back on a trip I took up and down the California coastline a few years ago. Now THAT was an awesome trip. Not too much of an itinerary, just going along from place to place. That was probably one of the best times of my life.

I believe that traveling is really a good thing to away from stress. I love to travel alone in new places.

This coming 4th of July week, i'm going to another state for a family vacation. Other then that, i'll prolly be stuck in my town for the rest of the year.

i think traveling allows us to get outside of our little boxes of life, and should be done here and there throughout our ventures. i was supposed to head to washington state for a convention this month, but plans fell through.

shall is good though, i'll make up for it.

I love traveling, and prefer Thailand to spend my vacations. Thailand is the home of stunning beaches. Calming milky white beaches washed by clear indigo water are the specialty of Thailand.

I can’t imagine NOT traveling .. its like being happier!! not only does it expand the mind, but it also expands the heart. I love travelling atleast twice or thrice somewhere far. It also provides us with some perspective on our own culture and habits.

I don't travel too much but a trip to Vegas may be in the works this year. Comes down to how much it costs and if I'll have the spare funds

We'll probably do a weekend trip at some point. Right now, there is talk of going to Chicago in the summer.... hopefully in the earlier part of the summer when I am not about to give birth at any moment.

You are right. Traveling does not give much pleasure when you are alone. I think you will be more lonely while traveling. I have planned a few travels this year but not for abroad.

For me, travelling with friends is the best thing. You cannot have that much of fun with your family/spouse.

Whether it is within country or out of it, you'll enjoy it. We (friends) usually travel right after our finals every semester. That makes it twice a year and it is the best time we have throughout the year.

I am planning a trip for this summer. I have an idea i.e. to visit Dubai. But i am not sure about that, i need to discuss with my friends and decide it.
