Yahoo's new chief could take home $27 million this year

This just seems like a ridiculous amount... if they've got that much money to pay him for w/e he does.. how come they can't put money like that into actually improving all of Yahoo's products and services? Sure they could use some new advancements as well as updates to actually be able to compete with other companies on a more fair level...

Makes no sense to me

If there ceo is making 22 million off of there stocks, then they are doing fine haha.

I'm not much of a yahoo critic ... I use them briefly for what I do, and that's it. My main email accounts are theirs though.

I guess it seems as though mostly they do alright as far as services, but like I said I'm not examining them in a very critical way. I WOULD think maybe they could hire better writers though. I wonder how much they pay for those articles they post?

And when I first glanced at the post title, I thought it said "Yahoo's new chef could take home 27 million"

Those better be some fancy eats!

If it is a private business than it is their business how much to pay, but for me the amount of 22 million dollars look increadiable.

Not bad eh?! I suppose it depends how much work he has to put in though too. How much traveling/jet lag, early mornings/late nights etc
