Unfortuantely the site was overloaded by the time I got to check it out. Perhaps I'll get to see the newborns.

Just saw on the news that one has hatched, but I don't see any evidence of that when I watch the video myself. The bird ain't movin' much!

I haven't seen them with my own eyes, yet, either, Trap. But I heard on CP24 that one had hatched.

When I went up to Nova Scotia a efw years back, I stayed on Cape Bretton and there's an Island off the coast that's a sanctuary for bald eagles. We took a small boat out to the island and it was rather amazing to see so many bald eagles flying around.

I read a while back that almost all American Bald Eagles are native Cape Breton birds. When they were on the verge of extinction in the states, they were thriving in Cape Breton. They were captured and moved south.
Next time you're in NS, Bri, you better stop and see me. You would have driven right by, unless you took the ferry from Maine.

The news mentioned that the report that one has hatched was a false alarm. She stood up and turned around earlier and the eggs were still fully intact. I have been watching her since Trap posted the link.

With over 3,000,000 visitors a day, I wonder when the web "vultures" will start distrubing wildlife to set up a webcam to gain traffic for their site.

As soon as it is dark they switch to replaying the daytime feed. At daybreak it becomes live again.

They have been trading places all day long. She is the one with more of a hook beak. (They are both hooked but hers is much more pronouced.)
She is definitely the louder of the two! You should have heard her when he brought food back. She snapped it away from him in a blink of an eye!
