I voted 100% for it only because I believe that I don't have any authority to judge about this issue. In my opinion it's only the woman that finds out she's pregnant who can judge about this. I think it's none of our busyness when people have abortions. I wouldn't do it but that doesn't mean I feel the need to judge about others.

Why is it up to the mother? In any other instance where human life is involved, we as a society demand it be protected.

I have a different opinion than "we, the society" on many occasions. One of the reasons I hate communism btw, and democracy as it turns out in our society, the individual has to live by the rules from the sheep. It's too dumb system and individual freedom of choise is killed in those systems, but that just me.

as for if the mothers' life were in danger... they used that lame excuse to get the partial-birth abortion law passed. That's a crock. There's been NO instance where a mother's life was SO in danger that an early c-section couldn't be done, and nowadays they're saving babies earlier and earlier... so that argument is a moot point

I'm 100% for abortion.

If a women has unprotected sex and the child is an accident chances are it is going to be an unwanted child that will not be looked after and instead of one life going down the drain you loose three people, the mother's life is ruined because she isn't ready for the child, the father is also screwed over, and then the child cops it all by having a screwed up family.

Most of us know what can happens when a child is brought up in a nasty family, they turn to drugs to fix their problems, which then turns to crime, which turns to worse stuff.

Its a bad cycle, we don't want things like this happening.

(Sorry if I sound cruel, just my honest opinion)

I am strongly opposed to it. Even if the baby was conceived out of some bad situation, it's still no reason to take an innocent life. Someone in this world would be more than happy to adopt it. And if it came down to my life or the baby's life, I guess I'd be dying. I don't see how any mother could be so selfish as to not place more importance on the life of their baby than their own.

I was brought up to believe if you're gonna play, you might have to pay.
If she doesn't want an unwanted child, then she has 3 options IMO...

1. keep her legs together
2. use birth control
3. put the baby up for adoption

seems pretty damn simple to me
