I'm not saying that facebook will go anywhere, but business contacts should be kept on LinkedIn.

Maybe it would make you even crazier if it shuts down permanently.

These two are the most famous sites among internet users, so it will be bad for them, but alternatives are available for Facebook and YouTube on internet. Therefore, people can use them as well...

If Facebook went down for good, I would celebrate heartily. I've been off of that garbage for months and have been more free and less distracted ever since.
You tube, however, would be missed. How would I watch Judge Judy?

I would be devestated if they were shut down. They both are a way of sending out knowledge and news fast.

If these sites both went down I part of me would be sad and the other part would be thinking its time to get some people together to make a site that was exactly like both of them and then I would get the profits

Wouldn't care in the least, lol.
Youtube gone? No problems, I got Vimeo.
Facebook gone? No problem, I'd be glad they were gone.

I don't use them too much anyway, so their disappearance won't really matter. I like keeping my content on my sites and sometimes promote via the two, so them not being online anymore doesn't mean I'd lose content or too much traffic.

I've kind of soured on both atm. Actually, I only really use facebook for my business pages. I think I'd be alright
However, if you asked me the same question 3 years ago... I'd probably be in trouble.
Youtube... meh... I've never really used it.

I would not mind much. We will try some other thing. There are many social networking sites coming in life every day...For you tube, we will think a while for a powerful option. There are some good video sites, though not so developed like youtube.
