I can't stand that show. I grit my teeth whenever it was on. That goes for CSI, Survivor, and anything else I'd have forgotten. If I want drama I'd watch the HBO channel. Plenty of high quality drama there.

Nothing wrong with singing, but it just disturbs me to see these people get up on that stage and hope to be "discovered". It's like that strange Snooki woman that was discovered in New Jersey.

People do it on YouTube too. Trying get attention in the hopes of becoming just like Justin Bieber. "Discovered." by some discoverers who want to make a dime.

Being discovered doesn't sound like hard work. I mean you're just sitting there like a bump on a log waiting and waiting. Yet, some say it is. I don't know. I can't sing. At all. But... I don't like the idea of basing my life around hoping to get turned into idol to be worshiped.

I really don't like having the lifestyles of the rich and famous shoved in my face every time I open Yahoo. Shopping at the grocery store? Well here's some tabloids you can stare at mindlessly while waiting in line at the cash register! Facebook celebrity scandal, click! Click! Click!

I thought America was about working hard for what you want. Not hoping that you will get judged by your "betters" so that you may be turned into an "idol"?

I'm actually glad that I can't sing.
