Thanks for the spellcheck - figures you would know the correct spelling of that word.
Yes, I'm sure SOME 16 years olds are having sex, however not with 40 year old men/women.

If they old enough to choose to have sex, they are old enough to choose who to have it with. When a 16 year old chooses to have sex, it's their own choice. I know you would prefer to make everybody else's decisions, but I'm guessing it's an unwelcome offer.

You seriously never stop amazing me. A 16 year old should be PROTECTED by his/her decisions until he/she becomes of age. A 40 year old should be HELD ACCOUNTABLE for taking advantage of a CHILD become of his/her lack of self control.

ConsenSual sex??? Have you any idea what the mind of a 16 year old is like, Mr. Scott? It is not logical and doesn't think of consequences - that is what makes it so cool to be 16~ How can one really CONSENT at 16? 15? 14?
What's too young for you p diddy?

Christy, if your 16 year old is still a child maybe that's because you are too controlling and never let her make any choices. Wouldn't you agree?
When I was 16 I had my own apartment, full time job and was living nicely. Think about why your kid it too impaired to do that.

16 is the age of consent in Ontario Canada.
I agree with John that if the individual is the age of consent they should be able to make their own decisions.
I lost my virginity at 16 and as far as I know I was LATE coming into the game. Alot of people have told me they started having sex at 14 or 15!!!
Parents can only do so much and hope that their child makes good decisions in life.

Actually, JOHN, that is not the case at all. My oldest daughter moved out on her own at 18. She's VERY independent - works two jobs and goes to college. She's doing wonderfully - I couldn't ask for a better outcome.

For the record. Id never sleep with anyone that isnt within 6 years of my age. But that doesnt mean that a 16 year old DOES NOT have the ability to think logically and make the responsible decision.
It's ALLLLLL in how you raise them.

You dont even know me yet you think I have issues. It's always wonderful to be judged by someone who doesnt take the time to get to know you.
Ever hear of reading a book by it's cover? Somethign that should never be done. But then again I guess you would not agree with that.

Hahahaha I dont need to have kids to have experienced GREAT parenting.
My dad was a singl father and raised two boys alone. The morals and respect and responsibilty he instilled in us is part of why I love being me.
It's not hard to be a great parent when you were taught by the greatest teacher.
It makes me sad to think of how your parents must have been.
Seriously they didnt teach you not to judge a book by its cover? They didnt teach you to treat others in the ways that you would like to be treated?
Respect, Consideration, comon curtosey mean anything to you?
You can hit the library or buy the book for all I care all I know is your average 16 year old that has been a result of good parenting is not some non logical individual that is unable to make responsible decisions.
