While it may be true in some cases, it is hardly representative of our gender. Like you said, I'm jaded. As far as I'm concerned, marriage is like putting a loaded gun to your head and pulling the trigger. Sure, you may survive sometimes, but the majority of times it ain't going to be pretty.

I wonder... where could one find statistics on divorce settlements? It would be interesting to see what the average divorces costs the average man.
