Apparently so. Parents (mother?) sound pissed. Can't blame them I guess, the kid is only 16 right? And she's an adult.

In the UK anyway, 16 year olds can put it about and it isn't a crime. How old do you have to be over there?

In Japan I think 13 nationally, but it varies by prefecture.

In the US, no idea, but I am pretty sure that a lot of 16 year olds are hitting it.

The time came when I had just turned 18 and my g/f was still 17, so my activity technically became illegal for a while, but we weren't bothered about it. This girl is 39 and the kid is 16 ... quite a difference, and you know how people are. Like if it were my kid I may or may not raise a fuss, I don't really know as I don't have kids or know the situation at all.

I do not think that the fact that she's not good looking is a crime whatsoever and down here it would not be a crime for a 16 years old to have sex. If a 16 years old decides to have sex with an ugly older woman that's their busyness, not anyone elses and certainly not the busyness of the state.

In the U.S. if the parents pushed it, the adult could be charged with statutory rape, for having sex with a minor. Few adults push it tho. Just the threat is enough to make the adult back off, lol

But I can certainly understand the point. If I'd caught a 39 yr old man having sex with my 14 or 15 yr old daughter, I'd have gone after him.
