I think we got 'caught up' but that is what happens when a topic that is so heated is discussed. It's just like abortion, politics etc. But, I disagree that it gets us nowhere. Talking always gets people thinking, even if they disagree. Steel sharpens steel and that's what debating is all about. We may not agree with people's style of debate, but it gets people talking and THINKING about their own belief system. That is always a good thing IMO. |
