An 'important crime' is when there are victims, when people smoke weed there are no victims whatsoever. The only victims of weed are the people who get arrested for it.

Tests, both in the UK and the Netherlands have proven that people who smoke weed are safer drivers than those that don't, they tend to drive more secure and less fast than those who did not use weed. What about that?

Myself I passed my bike, car and truck licence while 'on weed' and passed the tests gloriously, and my country is known for its difficult driving exams, I also have a 80% no claim bonus on my driving insurance for driving without any accidents for the past 30 years.

You may doubt all you like bro, it's been researched and the evidence is there. You can not compare someone who is 'stoned' with someone who is drunk. the effects on a person are completely different.

People who smoke weed DO walk straight, weed does not have any effect on ones capability of orientation whatsoever, it can give you the munchies, that's all.

And about "or put an intelligent sentence together" that's utter nonsense, when people can't put an intelligent sentence together that's because of their intellect and weed will not have any positive or negative effect on that.

I have to agree with John *gasp* on this one. I would much rather be on the road with potheads than drunks, but it still affects your reaction time no doubt.
